Hello from Yorkshire!

Hi guys,

Just sticking my head round the door to say hello. After a 9-month battle to get registered, I've finally beaten the system and made it in here!

I live in Yorkshire, UK, where we set up a county-wide league last year. Since last summer we've recorded about 350 competitive matches and we now have about 120 coaches playing matches in 9 very active regional divisions all across Yorkshire (and slightly beyond!). Our seasons are a year long (we're currently in the middle of Season 2) and all our match results are recorded at http://www.tybbl.org.uk/.

After checking with NFL, we think we're the UK's biggest tabletop Blood Bowl league and we've been marketing ourselves as such - but I'd be keen to know if anyone can challenge that claim...

I'm the league commissioner which means I coordinate the divisions and try to keep a sense of county-wide community. Another user on these forums, kingmabus666, is the division commissioner for York, the division that I play in (so bizarrely, he's my boss and I'm his).

I'm looking forward to getting involved in some of the discussions here, and I hope we have plenty to offer with our experience of organising and running a very large LRB6 league. I'm slightly baffled by the animated green emoticon that looks like it's spewing a prone giraffe, but apart from that, this looks like a great community.

Cheers
Toby
