Alert for moderators: suspect new registered user

This is just to alert moderators that there is a new registered user by the name of "telephonsexhure". That is German for "telephone sex whore".

The details of this user gives what appears to be a telephone sex site.

I suggest this is a case for instant deletion of this "user".

Hi Smeborg,

actually loads of those pass by, but with different names. The admins delete about 40-80 users per day.

But thanks for the heads up. This one would never have gotten through, there was a dodge web link behind it as well as the stupid user name.

I don't know this for sure, but I have repeatedly heard about how this can be limited through upgrading to phpbb 3.0, so that might be an option.

Yeah, we know that, but there is only one person who can do that, and he´s a bit busy it seems.

The PM spambot user has been deleted.
I got the PM, Saw it was a single link with a .ru website (because Russian websites are SO trustworthy).
When I saw someone else had had the same PM he was history.
