Returning player - Bristol, UK anyone from Bristol?

Hi all.. bored at work so I thought I hunt for another BB forum.. Found you guys after listerning to TackleZone Radio, so registered here I am!
Been playing GW back in 89' and pretty much stopped when I went to uni around 98, found the liking of girls and then got married.. Now back into GW thru the love of Blood Bowl. Been back to playing with two other close friends in Bristol and Bath these past couple of months and also joined the new local league at Bristol Vanguard, the Bristol Ultimate Bloodbowl League.
Anyone from Bristol or Bath on here?

No other leagues in Bristol according to this:

But yours isn't on there either, so that's not exhaustive.

Need to get more exposure to the league in Bristol and surround areas.. Seems to be a pattern than most Blood Bowl is played up North?

Hi fella,
I'm based in Swindon, and play regularly with SWAT on Tuesday evenings - if you're this side of Brizzol, it's not too bad a trek for a couple of games. Barnacles makes the trip occasionally, and would probably be up for a game or 2 - try giving him a PM on here. Also, Portbury Knights have a good league, as do the Bristol Big Uns. Don't have the links on me, but google is your friend
Further afield, the Viet Taff in Cardiff seem to have a load of active players (about 15?).

Yep, sounds great.. I know of some of those clubs you mentioned.. Hopefully I can settle into Bristol properly and discover BB world from next year!

Too late for that.. house and a wife in Bristol for 3 years now.. getting to Swindon sounds like a mission?!?!? But I hear u guys run small tournments also?

Then get to J17 M4 and ill pick you up (should halve your mileage) & yes we do run small tournments which sann's usually dominates!!

SWAT starts after 6pm, if you google "mongoose publishing" in swindon it should give you the address, alternately I will check my messages about 4pm so pm me if you wanted to meet at the junction ( and leave a contact phone number)
