Talk Fantasy Football

Well my boy (nearly 7) found some WW1 soldiers in a drawer and asked me to play with them. I tell him I think I might have some other figures at my dads so we go over and rummage about in the attic and found my old Bloodbowl stuff buried in twenty years of dust!

Got the first box with figures in (2nd Ed.?) and a load of lead: Ogres, Dwarfs, Skaven, Gobbos, Elfs, Dark Elves a few Star Players and the Star Players book. He is buzzing!

Just played a quick game and was fun like I remembered (had forgotten how annoying it is with the polystyrene board sliding about all over as you play!).

Came online to see if I could maybe get the Companion book again and I find a whole community with new rules and some absolutely fantastic 3rd party minis (Slann!) as well as this great forum.

Just wanted to say 'Hi' and I'll have a prowl round the boards and see what's what.

Not had chance to read up new rules yet; I'll probably just play the rules I have and remember for now I reckon.

this is the source of the rules and as such the best place to start, also try www.bbtactics.com. next go onto Itunes and locate the podcasts for Zlurpcast and Threedieblock (tackle zone radio is another, but appears to be on haitus)

I just went and downloaded an episode of each of those podcasts you suggested. I'll have a listen on the way to and from work over the next few days.
