An old finnish player

Hi everybody!

Although I've been browsing the forum for a few weeks it never occured to me to post here. I appologize for not introducing myself sooner.

I've been playing BB since '94 and I come from Finland. After having been away from the game for years I decided to introduce my teenage kids to it last fall. The girl didn't seem too interested and never got into it but the boy realized pretty fast that there were more teams to be had than my three so I went online to look for new teeams.

Imagine the chock I suffered when I realized how much the game had grown in my absense. We bought three new teams and started painting. Even though I don't like all of LRB6 we are currently upgrading the game. The kid was worried about stuff he didn't like about LRB6 so I taught him the golden rule of role/hobby gaming: Ignore or change the rules yoou don't like and you've got yourself a gem of a game.

My kid and me are currently running a 6 team league consisting of 3 tournaments and league play-offs at the end of the season. We've just started the second tourney in the first season. I won the first tourney with the Dark Elves who barely made it to the play-offs after having lost their first two games. I now have a WE with 4 in strength and she keeps annoying all hell out of my kid :P

Kiitoksia

I just realized my profile doesn't say where I'm from. I'm off to change that righht away.

Last night I played my 6th game ever with my dwarf team. The game was against a skaven team and since the dwarves have developed a bit they have a lot of mighhty blow amongst them. By the end of the second half there were only 7 skaven players still standing. 2 skaven players died and the game ended 2-2. I'm really looking forward to my next dwarf game against high elves. Those guys are in for one hell of a trashing.
