Hi another newbie here,
My club has decided to hold a tournament in November so a group of us that have never played blood bowl before have decided to use this excuse to give it a go, thankfully the club has decided that as this is the first BB tourney we can use any minatures as long as they are the correct race
I'm planning on starting skaven, so hopefully I can pick up lots of tips and sneaky ways to play on this site!
Cheers!

Welcome, skaven are a great team.
Just remember to buy the maximum gutter runners you can and no less than 3 re-rolls

Oh and its not really worth taking the rat ogre IMHO.

Gutter Runners are your star players, SPP hogs and generally your keys to victory. Try and make sure they don't get killed, because your opponent may well know that too! My latest League game was against a Skaven coach and, once I'd got his three Gutter Runners off the pitch, there was very little threat he could mount as his massive speed and agility advantages had been nullified.
+1 on the No Rat Ogre, too.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
As said before, Skaven is a very good team and Gutter Runners realy are the "key-players".
They are quite fragile so dont over-expose them as any decent opposing coach will try to eliminate them.
Try to avoid "attriction wars" specialy against tougher teams (and being skaven most teams are tougher than you...).
Cheers
A.

Where are you? Country, county? There are BB players in most places, so you may get some interest from here.
