Fan Factor Question

Hi, I'm fairly new to BB, after a couple of my miniature-game addicted friends gave me a team as a birthday gift. So far I've gotten together a fairly interesting team, I think, despite a couple goofy picks on skills in the beginning...

Anyway, my (rather inconsequential) question is this: When one gains Fan Factor as a result of rolling a six or better on the fan factor chart thingy, does this in any way add to one's Team Rating? When you buy FF initially it costs 10k, so the guy who is acting as the Commissioner for our small league has decided that regardless of whether or not you actually have to pay for it, each point of FF adds one point to your team rating. I've managed to eke out a fairly nice +5 fan factor after a few games, and that +5 extra Team Rating has caused me to give the other team a couple penalty rolls I rather wish they hadn't had. I gather this might be a bit less noticeable at later stages, when SPPs and whatever large amount of gold you might have invested in the team will drive the TEam Rating up anyway, but I'm just curious if there's any official sort of word on this.

He's correct. Each point of FF (whether gained or bought initially) adds 1 point of TR and 10k to the total value of team. (And vice-versa should it go down.)

you recalculate your team rating after every match, once your Fan Factor, treasury, players/skills and re-rolls have been finalised.

this means that if a player dies, your TR will drop too (forgive me if you knew this...)

Bear in mind though that if you buy re-rolls after the league has started the COST double (i.e. 100k for a human team) but it will actually cause your TR to drop.

e.g. Your team is TR 110 and 0 re-rolls, with 100k in the bank. You buy a re-roll for 100k. TR110 - 100k = TR 100 + 5 for the re-roll = TR105.
