UNGAWA!
So, I'm new. As if you couldn't figure that out.
I play orcs in the league at my local store... trouble is, they're looking like halflings. I need some sound advice on strategy for the boyz... so I figured I'd come lookin' around here.

The best way to do that is look in the team and tactics section or do a search. Just press the serach button, type Orc AND tactics. You'll see some threads that will help you.
I myself can't give you any advice. I've currently lost my game ending with 4 players on the pitch and loosing 4-0 against a rookie Chaos team. So you can guess how well I'm playing!
Anyway have fun and prepare to get nuts! Espescially when Asmodan is giving his comment!

Well, if you can't hurt them I would think I big part is not having Block yet on the Black Orcs- that is a phase you will grow out of.Grimfang Cragtooth wrote:So, I'm new. As if you couldn't figure that out.

Adding Tackle to all your Blitzers will start that to happen as well. Personally, I think you cause more CAS with Tackle then MB and far more ball control

Alternately, you could just shoot 'em till they glow, then shoot 'em in the dark.NightDragon wrote:Kill them all. God will know his own!
Orcs can be a tough team to coach through growing pains initially. The really diverse roster possibilities make any specific advice a little impractical, but hitting people and covering the ball with a cage are big parts of Orcish play. You want to try and grind out scores in 8 turns in both halves, and win 2-0 or 2-1 each game. Let us know what your roster looks like and we can get more specific.

yeah, they take a while to start getting a good team. Try to get that phase with no real cas and see them evolve into a killing machine.
Alternatively, there is a great contribution called Orks are agile. Very interesting read to show you an alternate path to the kill, kill, kill approach.
An ideal game would be kill, kill, kill in the first half and then a run and pass game in the second (as there'll be only six opponents standing), or so goes the theory
