Hey Guys and Gals
This is my First posting so please be gentle
I'm considering Starting a Dark Elves Team and was woundering about Player Names has anyone got any suggestions.
Also I have worked out a preliminary Line-up
It consists of
6 Linemen
1 Witch Elf
3 Blitzers
1 Re-Roll
2 Fan Factor
After all is said and Done my Team has a Rating of 200 so what do you think?

First of all, if this is a team you want to play for more then a few games, get more Fan Factor. Especially with Elves (I play WoodElves myself) getting lots of money is crucial.
Also, only one re-roll isn't going to cut it. Think about it. Your linemen dodge to a safe square on a 2. So a dodge will go wrong one in six times. Six linemen, so one failed dodge roll every turn, or your Blitzers will have to work overtime to protect them. Of course, they have Armour 8 instead of the 7 of my Woodies.
I would also get at least one thrower. If you can play a passing game, why wouldn't you. Even if only to be able to get the ball quickly( and dependently) from one side of the field to the other.
Anyway, you've only got 10 players, the Living rulebook says you have to startd with at least 11.
9 linemen (630k)
1 Blitzer (100k) or 1 Witch (110k)
1 Thrower (90k)
2 Re-rolls (100k)
FF 7 or 8
Buy an Apothecary after the first game.
At least, this is what i will play when I finish my Dark Elves. Sigh, so much to paint, so little time.
As far as names are concerned, that depends on your own taste. Maybe use compounds with Night, and Moor, and Swamp and such. Urthul DarkSwamp or stuff like that.
PS: what do you mean with a Team Rating of 200? it has 100, like every other starting team

Evil Elvish. Corrupt names, make them sound harsh, add a nasty surname. You will need to research though. You can't expect to just come up with 16. I have put some of the names I like best on another thread, think in General Chat.
Good luck with DE's, they are the Supreme Race.

Sorry, but lot's of things are wrong with that from a rule point of view

- you are not allowed to start with 10 players only, so one is missing
- TR would be 90, you have spent 100k left to spend.
From a strategic point of view listen to Orin. Some general guidelines are:
- try to max out FF, Elves need the money. Go with 7 at least.
- get more ReRolls. They cost double after team building, so try to start at least with 2, better 3 (hard to do)
It's hard to build a starting roster with Elves, but i'd suggest to go either with:
- 11 Lineelfs, 3RRs, 8FF or
- 10 Lineelfs, 1 Blitzer, 2 RR, 9FF, 10k cash or
- 9 Lineelfs 2 Blitzer, 2RR, 7FF.
After the games, buy Apo first, then more blitzers, then a 3rd RR (for roster 2 and 3), then the witches.

I'd normally start a DE team
2 Blitzers
9 Line elfs
2 TRR
7 FF.
Throwers are quite expensive for what they give you - just use line elves to make quick passes/hand offs.

9 Lineelfs 2 Blitzer, 2RR, 7FF.
Definatly the way to go. It is a really good team without all of the positon players.

How does that work?
My understanding is tat you need a Min of 11 Players and the list that you have just given is only 10 players

Grumble had 1 blitzer, 1 thrower and 8 fan factor, leaving just enough cash for 9 line elves.
