Can the new Khemri team lose?

With an astonishing 4(!!!):o S5 blockers (Mummies) with Mighty Blow to start, and AV9 + Regenerate, I cannot imagine a scenario where this team would not eventually dominate any tournament or league. Sure they won't score fast, but the casualty rate will be staggering. On top of that you have cheap, disposable linemen, and then blitzers and throwers (not the greatest, but they are there).

Has anyone found a chink in this team's armor yet? Is there something I am overlooking? Unless I hear something that will seriously crock this team, I am not going to allow them in my league. Just too destructive.

Normally I agree with the rules reviews, but it seems they have made a serious mistake here.

as far as i can tell this team will have problems moving the ball. yes they have 4 mummies but they have a maximum movement of 5 with all their gfi's. the rest of the team moves 5 normally but the ag 2 is going to burn the re-rolls through the game.

although what do i know

Combined stats for the 3 Khemri teams in the MBBL:

29 game played total
15 wins - 14 loses - 0 ties
51.72% win rate

45 TDs for - 37 TDs against
96 CAS for - 37 CAS against

1.55 TD for a game/ 1.26 TD against a game
3.31 CAS for a game / 1.28 CAS against a game

High/Lows for other teams other than Khemri that are currently official from my league for those last stats:

TDs for a game: 2.03 High Elf / 0.87 Goblin
TDs against for a game: 1.91 Skaven / 1.12 Amazon
CAS for a game: 3.02 Dwarf / 0.96 Wood Elf
CAS against a game: 3.81 Halfling / 1.31 Dwarf

So they only have a 50/50 win rate, but their CAS for and CAS against stats are the best race in the league for both.

Of all the teams made official Khemri are the least of my worries.
I'd venture to say that Zons and Pro Elves are still more of a threat in the long run.

It is in the long run that I am really worried about.

I think the new elf team will be too fragile (AS7) and too expensive to make the long haul.

The stats seem OK for ten games, I guess I will include them.

Low MA and awful AG mean they will always have trouble moving the ball around. So scoring more than 1-2 TD will always be a struggle. Against fullish rosters their skeles will get pounded and the mummies isolated and taken out.

FUMBBL pretty much supports the view that Khemri aren't broken long term: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=stats&op=development

As the coach of the leading Khemri team in the MBBL, I can second Galak's note that the Khemri are not broken. Also bear in mind that the cas stats have been racked up with the broken version of Piling On. This change will IMO severely reduce the hitting power.

The TD stat there worries me a bit. While 1.55/game is just a bit high to my mind, 1.26 against/game is really too good, IMO. If the Khemri lose against elves, for example, and they almost always should considering the match ups, I would expect the elves to put up 3 or 4 TDs...

Also, I am surprised to see only 1.28 CAS against/game - with av7 outside of their mummies, I would expect rather alot of CAS from those players facing various Chaos/Orcs types, or even just being isolated and fouled by elves and skaven...

It will be interesting to see, now that PO has been fixed and is a skill you wouldn't really want on a mummy what their CAS/game falls to.

Overall in my brief experience playing Khemri I found them incredibly boring.
