Is there a restriction on UK teams like in the past? Just so I can get an idea of how soon I need to pay.

Re: UKTC IX | York | August 24-25 2024
With some frustration I have to inform you of a change of date for UKTC 2024.
Yesterday I was informed that York University will now be hosting graduation on 3/4 August 2024 and as a result we cannot use that weekend.
I have been offered the 24th and 25th of August 2024 instead which I have accepted. It's the August Bank Holiday weekend in the UK which will hopefully be a good option for many of you.
The original date was confirmed by the events team back in January so as I say it is frustrating to hear of this change, not least because that prior date created a clash with Thrud Bowl, the repercussions of which we discussed at some length. In the end it might be an advantage if Thrud 2024 is not disrupted after all.
My sincere apologies for any inconvenience and confusion this has caused.
If your team needs a refund because individuals can't make the new date please contact us. Hopefully the advance notice gives enough flexibility to make other arrangements.
My apologies if the new date creates any further clashes across the blood bowl calendar.
Please share this information widely. I'll be looking to get in touch with all the captains to be sure I didn't miss anyone.

Re: UKTC IX | York | August 24-25 2024
Short note just to inform that I have issued the rules for UKTC 2024 here:
http://www.bbuktc.com/rules/
Changes are around tier distribution within the same basic structure.
The spread of skill cash across tiers is narrowed, now between 100k and 200k; stunties are receiving 20k less than they did in UKTC 2023
There are now seven tiers (from six in 2023). This was done to give a shade more differentiation between the top 10 races in particular.
Some under-represented races have moved into lower tiers, some higher performers have been moved up.
This has been informed by subjective judgment as well as soundboarding from some discerning veteran players (thanks folks! YKWYA).
I've also taken account of performance data in NAF games in BB2020.
Feedback always welcome. I hope this is well received!
In the likely event that new rosters and races land from GW before next year, expect an addendum.
Cheers
