The New Year can be a bit bleak, so why not liven it up a little with a chill day of Blood Bowl in Lancaster at Lunecaster Bowl VI? We will be seeking NAF approval. This does mean you'll need a NAF registration in order to sign-up. It also means you can improve your ranking by hammering me. An additional bonus this year is we should be the inaugural tournament of the North West Tournament Series, which you can read about here.

Just opposite the bus station and a ten minute walk from the train station. A car park is adjacent and would cost £6 for all-day parking but there are plenty of other car parks in Lancaster.

Rules
We will be using the team building rules for this year's NAF Championships, which can be found here (check the drop-down menu). We won't however be banning Dribl and Drull, Estelle La Veneaux, Ivan ‘the Animal’ Deathshroud, or Skitter Stab Stab Those guys never did anyone any (lasting) harm! In essence, the only banned Stars are the official GW Mega-stars.

It'll be 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and the tie-breakers will be TD difference, head-to-head score and strength of schedule in that order.

Please bring a team where the miniatures clearly and unambiguously represent the players. If you are in any doubt or want to ask anything at all then check with the tournament organisers by posting below.

Food will not be provided but there will be 50% off food at GoBurrito just around the corner. If we sell all the tickets then prize support will be from the excellent Docminiatures who will provide a couple of miniature cases.

There are only 16 slots available for this tournament so please sign-up and pay as soon as you know you can make it. Your place is not reserved until payment is received.

Rosters
We will be using TourPlay to run this tournament, so please bring a smart phone or other wireless enabled device to record your games on the day. The app is very easy to use but we will be able to assist with using it on the day. Bring a pitch if you have one!

Thank you to everyone who made the trek to Lancaster yesterday, especially those who travelled up from the Midlands and further afield. Winner was, er, me. I t ook Gnomes thinking I'd just make up the numbers. Runner-up was Barney the Lurker with Khorne and third place was Trollface with Wood Elves.

We'll be running another tournament in six months time. July 19th, using the Eurobowl rules. I'll put the thread up here for sign-ups soon.
