on Saturday 18th January 2025 at Taunton Castle Somerset
(NAF approved here and included in the South West Tournament Series)

Tourplay Registration is now Open -

Cost: Tickets for the event will be £15 per Coach. This includes the days gaming and goes toward both the prizes and supporting the Museum of Somerset.

Tickets will go on sale once the TFF post has been posted and registration opened. You can post for tickets in there, fill in this form (link) or email us at southwestscrumpers@gmail.com.

To fully reserve your ticket, please pay £15 via PayPal to southwestscrumpers@gmail.com with friends and family, please include your full name and NAF number in the payment details. Refunds will be available up to 28 days before the event. After that a refund will only be given if your ticket is sold on.

The museum is situated in Taunton town centre, just 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M5, 15 minutes walk from Taunton Railway Station and just 50 metres from Taunton Bus Station. The museum is in the centre of Taunton, on Castle Green, and has several public car parks nearby. The nearest car parks are Tangier and the Crescent. Follow the directions to Taunton town centre and car parks.

Hi All,
Quick update, we're chuffed to have filled registration so quickly and now have 5 on the reserves list.

We don't think there's much more room available but we will check and come back to you all. We've been to a few events over the last year that have been a bit of a squeeze and we'd really like to avoid that in what we feel is such a lovely venue. but we will try.

Great to hear from you again and thanks for paying. I've put you on the reserves list and whilst we don't think it's possible to increase the number we will look into it over this month (November) and let people know. Once we know more, and got a sense of which reserves have moved up the list we'll reach out and confirm the plan in more detail.

We (South West Scrumpers) have looked into, and are hopefully planning to run a larger event in Exeter with up to 100 coaches but we are in the early stages of this. Early provisional dates appear to be either May/June, or potentially even earlier (before NAFCs) but this is very dependant on the venue and ensuring we get the right Coach and Referee support in place. One dayers look like likely but various people have reached out and asked if it would be possible to host a 6 game 2 day event given the size of the venue and number of coaches.

This Taunton event is our first and whilst it's sold out very quickly, we're gonna just take things slowly, check what is possible and not overstretch to soon too quickly. We'll keep coaches updated best we can once we know more.
