Problems With Halfling Scribe League Management

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but here goes...

In general I really love the Halfling Scribe League Management Excel sheet, it's worked pretty well for me. However, I have three problems/questions, and maybe others have experienced these same issues:


1) Frequently, there seems to be a problem with how the "Rankings"
sheet reflects what I input into the "Results" sheet.

For example, I might add a result where a TeamA beats TeamB by a score of 2-1 and TeamB gets 2 CAS to TeamA's 1 CAS. The team stats are reported correctly, i.e. TeamA has 2 TD this season and TeamB has 1 TD, but for some reason the Rankings might have TeamA's record as being something like 0-1-0 (no wins, one loss) with 0 points, and TeamB's record as 1-0-0 (1 win, no losses) with 5 points, even though it should be the exact opposite. Sometimes I get other random Rankings updates, like two teams getting a Tie and the respective points, even though one team clearly won (as recorded properly in the Results sheet). And sometimes I will even get a team gettin the win properly updated in the Standings sheet, but the points awarded are wrong.

Sorry this is so long, hope I'm being clear. Anyone out there know what's going on here?


2) I would like to change the points system as found in the Database
sheet.

I know its easy to change the system from the default:

5 points for win
3 points for tie
1 point for loss

to something like:

3 points for win
1 point for tie
0 points for loss

but does anyone have a clue how to change the system entirely to this:

3 points for a win by more than 2 TD
2 points for a regular win
1 point for a tie
0 points for a loss
-1 points for a loss by more than 2TD

3) Finally, the Excel sheet is made to work with a league of 25 teams (or
less). However, my league is bigger than that now (at 35 teams). Does
anyone know I might go about increasing the team max?


I don't know much about Excel and can't even begin to think about how
to go about changing these things. I haven't been able to get a response about this from Tim.

Tim's had other things on his mind recently. If you do a search for his last post, you'll see why.

It is possible to change the rankings, but I can't help you, as I don't understand Excel either.
