yes, but what i'm actually looking for is a manual on how to play after having installed Java Bbowl.
I have installed the program and start a game, but from then on I'm kind of lost. Can't even put players on the pitch.
I just want to get a feeling of how to use the program in practice before going online.

Alright. Lets try to find the problem...Aalund wrote:I have installed the program and start a game, but from then on I'm kind of lost. Can't even put players on the pitch.
Stand Alone Mode
1 Open the client, choose stand alone mode
2 Browse team 1 and team 2 (there are few teams to choose inside the Java Bbowl client folder.
3 Click start game
4 You should see Coin Toss window, choose heads or tails and the game should be ready
5 Now just drag the players to the squares you want.
...where do you encounter the problem?
BTW, have you checked the Read Me file that comes with the client? It has some brilliant information as well. Below the table of contents for an example...

Not really, no.Aalund wrote:3 out of four times I can't drag players from the reserves onto the pitch. Any idea why???
Hmmm, just checking that you've realised that you can move only the kicking team players first? To end your turn just click the turn number and the other team can do its move.
