List of Cyanide Bugs
I finally caved in and purchased the game... several months after I had originally intended to buy it.
I was put off by the huge number of bugs reported along with all missing content and the whole download only fiasco. Despite this I was impressed by the general look and feel of the beta. Six months seemed like enough time for them to correct most of the obvious bugs and the whole thing looked like quite a fun (albeit impractical) platform to play bloodbowl on. Sadly the bugs are still there and there seem to be more than I've heard about.
I figured a definitive list of bugs would be a good idea so that people could a) know what they're buying, and b) not get caught out by them during the game. Please post any bugs you think I've missed and I'll try to add them to the list. It'd be handy if you pointed out when stuff gets fixed too.
Bugs
Bribes:
- work automatically
- cant be used to save secret weapons
Chainsaws:
- suffer a +3 armour modifier when they are fouled
Piling On:
- doesnt apply mighty blow to the re-roll
Skills:
- are mostly compulsary (this seems fair enough though)

- Amazons, Chaos Dwarfs, Dark Elves, Halflings, High Elves, Khemri, Necromantic, Norse, Nurgle, Ogres, Pro Elves, Undead, Vampires
- Anything LRB5+ onwards including new teams

also, the wizards are completely random by race. For example, dwarves get a team wide +1 AV buff for 2 turns, humans get a fireball, Chaos forces one member of the opposing team to randomly attack a player on his own side... But they are not well thought out at all- and there is no option to just get the standard fireball/lightning bolt wizard.
Also- campaign mode throws in really random aging. It's worse than LRB 4 at high SPP values (but better at low SPP values, I think.)

As to bribes, it may just be a bug with knocked out secret weapons. I know when they're on the field at the end of a drive you can definitely use a bribe.
Another bug is that some skills (juggernaught, grab, etc) which should allow you a choice as to usage do not.

THIS IS A CUMULATIVE UPDATE THAT INCLUDES FIXES OF ALL PREVIOUSLY RELEASED PATCHES.
MODIFICATION 1.0.1.10 VERSION:
- Fix a potential crash when one player has the skill Kick Off Return.
MODIFICATIONS 1.0.1.9 VERSION:
- Ball & Chain: The player can't use Diving Tackle, Frenzy, Kick-Off Return, Pass Block and Shadowing skills anymore.
- Diving Catch: Now work to catch ball at kick-off.
- Take Root: Is now rolled after Stand Up.
- Tentacles: Can now be use to prevent Leap from working.
- Fixed wrongly used dice modifiers on ball.
- Fixed random crashs occuring with sounds.
MODIFICATIONS 1.0.1.8 VERSION:
GAMEPLAY
- Blitz!: Stuns caused during Blitz! are not discounted anymore.
- Campaign: Playing teams are now more randomly selected.
- Dice Modifiers: Some modifiers were not properly applied.
- Fan Factor: Fan Factor variation is now properly computed.
- Go For It: A Go For It was rolled for the second block of Frenzy when this move was the last movement available.
- Go For It: Was not properly rolled when doing a Hand-off.
- Interception: An interceptor must be closer to the thrower than the thrower is to the target player/square of the pass, and closer to the target player/square of the pass than the thrower is to the target player/square of the pass.
- MVP: Players not available to play will not be eligible for MVP anymore.
- Placement: It is now impossible to swap a character in reserve with an opponent.
- Save: Saved games at turn 16 will not add an extra turn anymore when loaded.

TEAMS

- Dump-Off: Timer fixed. Hail Mary Pass can not be used anymore during Dump-Off. Player that failed Really Stupid Roll are notre prompted anymore to use Dump-Off.
- Hail Mary Pass: Can now be used to launch the ball at a greater distance than Bomb.
- Horns: It now works correctly, even combined with Frenzy.
- Mighty Blow: It is now used to break armour only when needed, and is counted when re-rolling with Piling On.
- Pass Block: A player using Pass Block does not have to roll for a negative skill before to move (Really Stupid, Bone Head, Wild Animal and Take Root).
- Pro: can be used during the opponent turn to re-roll Tentacles and Shadowing. When you fail pro, dice is not re-rolled anymore.
- Really Stupid: A player with the Skill Really Stupid does not give a bonus anymore to a player rolling for Really Stupid.
- Right Stuff: The player with this skill may now take its turn if he is thrown before he has moved and fails to land but is uninjured
- Shadowing: Player should now be able to throw a Block next turn.
- Throw Team-Mate: Passing skills are now used.
- Stand Firm: Doesn't work anymore when the player is Prone.
- Very Long Legs: It now prevents the use of Safe Throw.
MODIFICATIONS 1.0.1.7 VERSION:
- Morg 'n' Thorg, a new Star Player, is available for all races!
- Bouncing ball when using Frenzy shouldn't freeze the match anymore.
- Fixed a case where invitation didn't work.
- Fixed a crash when AI had no players left on field.
- Fixed a memory leak in the GUI.

- Fixed cases of match save corruptions, players should now be able to recover most of previously not working match saves.
- Improved the multiplayer invitation system in order to help players with port issues.
- Journeymen and mercenaries will not lose their Loner Skill anymore when loading a saved match.
- Fixed rare cases where the AI could launch the ball more than once in the same turn.

I am happy with the chainsaw +3 on fouls, but then I haven't really played as Goblins yet so it hasn't affected me.SillySod wrote:

Piling on / reroll includes Mighty Blow has been fixed.
This is really annoying, GRAB during chainpushes stops you heaving them into the crowd. JUGGERNAUT on a Big Guy with Block stops you knocking over a player without Block during a BlitzSillySod wrote:

Grab works on blitzes (tbh I like this bug)
I had a go with the scrolls system because it sounded kind of fun. Who cares if its LRB if it kind of does what a wizard should, right? Sadly it looks like the magic system in chaos league where the crowd let you cast stuff if they get excited
My experience of the system so far is casting the lizardman "every opponent in a 5x5 radius gets bonehead" spell... which gave the opposing players bonehead for my turn and my turn only, so basicly did nothing 
Loads of the "have a 28.3% chance of getting +St for a match" items and inducements dont feel terribly thought through. They might well be quite well balanced but I'm not such a fan of the semi-concealed pot luck factor. You can avoid them perfectly well though so I guess they're a nice bonus feature.
Losing a game (that you are easily winning) due to a disconnection is frustrating but way better than the alternatives. It does kind of obliterate the chances of leagues being terribly competitive though.
Bloodwiser babes seem to be available in the blitz mode but not in classic.... its just odd

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
