I havent played much in a while due to getting Football manager 2010 but I heard a story about a patch coming out and maybe a few teams?
Anyone know anything more?

No, there was an announcement due January, which was pushed to February, which was pushed to early march which still hasn't been announced. 
What said announcement contained we've no idea.
I will never touch another piece of software that has anything to do with Cyanide/Focus - their customer interaction sucks.

That is a shame Simon, I had been holding out hope that they might improve the AI, fix the bugs and add in the rest of the races and inducements (even as pay for downloadable content!)

Rob, we might well be willing to pay, but lets not weaken our position of strength by saying that before they reveal what is on offer.
I would hope for
a slightly improved AI (although saying that I have seen the AI teams taking much more sensible skills recently)
and the teams below.

I heard rumours about no March announcement and a leak that Undead were going to be added...
Talk about a letdown, must check the forums sometime but I hear its a huge whinefest over there!
