Re: OBBLM 0.8 is out! (BB manager)
Indeed some free hosts slap adverts and such at the end of any page generated on their servers.
This conflicts with the fact that OBBLM 0.8 uses a webtechnology called AJAX, which OBBLM uses to parse data between already loaded pages, such as the autocomplete feature. Thus when the webhost slams junk at the end of the parsed data TO the autocomplete feature, it can't interpret it properly and hence the feature does not work.
Either you can ignore this and not having the benefit of the autocompletion, or you can switch webhost.
I am sorry if I or any other dev have suggested you to use a specific free host which now may be causing problems with v. 0.8.
Nicholas.

Re: OBBLM 0.8 is out! (BB manager)
Hi there,
Sorry i'm a beginner here, I have obblm 0.8 up and running on a host and can create coaches, leagues etc.... Previously i have been using BB manager for our league and its simple submit match facility but how do i do the same with OBBLM? How can i import a cyanide team and data?
I have found the "import team" option in the admin drop down but it talks about XML schema which i have no idea about?
Also i have found the Client match report upload in the plugins but it just asks for a file? What kind of file?
Sorry this is all rather confusing for me i can't find any starter documentation beyond the install, any help to start me off would be great
Obblm looks like an awesome bit of work but i just dont know how to unlock its potential.

Re: OBBLM 0.8 is out! (BB manager)
in the /modules/leegmgr/settings.php file you would enable the cyanide reporting there.
Once enabled:
Playing a Match
Select League : ...
Click Coach Corner
Click your team
Move the mouse over Roster, underneath of the main team roster
Click Cyanide-DB
Save the file to:
[My ]Documents/Blood Bowl/Saves/Teams/
Uploading a match
Choose which player will upload the match since only one upload is needed.
The following two files must be zipped.
-MatchReport.sqlite
-Replay_.db
The Match report is located in the following location:
[My ]Documents/Blood Bowl/
The Replays are in the following location:
[My ]Documents/Blood Bowl/Saves/Replay
NOTE: The MatchReport.sqlite file is overwritten upon starting a new match.. You have to zip up the file before playing another game.
Select League : ...
Click Pugins
Click- Client Match Report Upload
Browse and select the zip file you just created.
Select the Tournament you wish to upload the match to.
Upload the zip file.
Check Recent Matches to ensure that all went well.

Re: OBBLM 0.8 is out! (BB manager)
Thanks for the quick responce Funnyfingers thats great
So after install..
1) enable cyanide uploads in the /modules/leegmgr/settings.php by changind FALSE to TRUE
2) create the leagues the divisions and coaches in the ADMIN-> Management section of the site (I'm guessing Tournaments are seperate from leagues and divisions?)
3) start uploading as you describe above or do the teams need to be created first?
Can i upload cyanide created team rosters? including ones that have not played games yet, to the site or do i have to set them up manually first in the Coaches Corner? I saw mentions of using the local tmp. file after managing a team inside the cyanide game? I notice that the Ogham League has obblm v .08b (http://www.stellazone.co.uk/index.php?section=about) Could it be that i have and older version and mines just v0.8 not v0.8b? But i can't find a link to a v0.8b download?

Hey Nicholas, Many thanks for the responce, it seems i will be needing the cyanide extension modules?
I found a cyanide module in the "code trunk"
http://www.google.com/codesearch/p?hl=e ... om/svn&d=1
Is it just a case of copying those files to my hosted "modules" directory to open up these options up or is other tweeking required?
Should i somehow dsiable the tabletop, BOTOCS stuff?
....and ok to prove what a newbie i am, what is BOTOCS? lol

Re: OBBLM 0.8 is out! (BB manager)
It is in the release. No need to look around for it... If you enable it, it will work though there are a few minor bugs being worked on.
If you go searching around you may find a previous attempt at the cyanide module, which won't help you at all.
Do the instructions that I posted not work for you?

Alas no. When i try to ...
"Playing a Match
Select League : ...
Click Coach Corner
Click your team
Move the mouse over Roster, underneath of the main team roster
Click Cyanide-DB
Save the file to:
[My ]Documents/Blood Bowl/Saves/Teams/"
I get the following errors....
PHP Error Message
Notice: Undefined index: +2 Ag in /home/a5108903/public_html/obblm/modules/leegmgr/cyanide/lib_cy_team_db.php on line 533
Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/a5108903/public_html/obblm/modules/leegmgr/cyanide/lib_cy_team_db.php on line 149
When i try to ....
"Select League : ...
Click Pugins
Click- Client Match Report Upload
Browse and select the zip file you just created.
Select the Tournament you wish to upload the match to"
The drop down is empty and only has "Exisiting FFA" in bold italics below and it is not selectable. I get the following errors when trying to upload the zip file...
Notice: Undefined index: ffatours in /home/a5108903/public_html/obblm/modules/leegmgr/class_upload_botocs.php on line 948
PHP Error Message
Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/a5108903/public_html/obblm/modules/leegmgr/cyanide/lib_cy_match_db.php on line 128
What I have done so far is
1)Installed obblm v0.8
2)Enabled the cyanaide line /modules/leegmgr/settings.php from false to true.
3)Create all the coaches for our league.
4)Create the leagues that we are about to start plus the ones already completed.
What I want to do is upload the game data from our finished cyanide leagues as i have all the replay files and MatchReport.sqlite files. Would this automatically create teams/coaches/rosters in obblm from the uploaded data like BB manager does?
I did some searching around and i found the Ogham League and their rules page (http://www.stellazone.co.uk/index.php?section=rules) says the following......
"Uploading a Multi-Player Team to the League
Import a team from the page "CC -> My Teams -> Start a New Team -> Import a Cyanide team: Click here"
Log in to Blood Bowl, sign in to multiplayer
Select the team you'd like to submit and click 'Manage the team'
ALT+TAB or CTRL+ESC out of the game
Browse to the following location;
XP - My Documents\BloodBowl\Saves\Net
Vista/Windows 7 - Documents\BloodBowl\Saves\Net
Select the file tmp.db
Make sure the file type is 'Saved Team' then click send file"
I could not find this "Import a Cyanide team: Click here" option and their OBBLM page states they are running OBBLM v. 0.8b (http://www.stellazone.co.uk/index.php?section=about) which lead me to believe that i did not have the correct version for dealing cyanide games?

Does a non-imported team work? We don't know anything about their cyanide import utility. They haven't shared it with OBBLM.

Has it been noted the Halfling Master Chef should cost 'Flings 100k now? The proposed 50K(LRB5+) got yanked and set back to 100k.
I changed my class_inducements.php mention of 50k to 100k and it seems to work fine.

Thanks for letting me know. It looks like the inducements try-out has not been fully updated to LRB6. Editing in that file manually is 100% ok.Pagan wrote:Has it been noted the Halfling Master Chef should cost 'Flings 100k now? The proposed 50K(LRB5+) got yanked and set back to 100k.
