having finally relented and downloaded the PBeM tool and all that stuff I'm ready to play a game....I think.
Problem is, do I NEED to use teamtracker? Its an exe file and I don't have Excel on my machine at home.

No, you could take a generated html and modify it with a text editor.

Suggest you go to Galak's site and download any of the team htmls from MBBL or MBBL2.
Then edit it using a text editor (I am not sure if another spreadsheet program loads htmls too) as Christer suggests.

I downloaded one of the programs from the league website too (the last one on the list.)
Would have saved myself a hell of a lot of trouble if I had done that FIRST.
Oh well.
I know I'll be using that little roster program to keep track of my rosters from now on though. Beats the crap out of that irritating halfling.
