Yeah.. I'm sorry to say that the time I spend here has been reduced alot since I started the open division in FUMBBL... LeagueManager is updated constantly as I use it in the league.
I have no idea if anyone except me uses it for anything, so I've been kinda lazy on keeping the site up to date.

Arf, it's a fact the time you spent here is less time to play... except for some hard core players: deathwing, galak...
Back on your tool, I found it very attractive ... I think I will use it soon, in my league ... even if the best with your tool is having a portable PC...
The version on your webpage, if I've understood well, isn't the last one ?

Methinks ... that Exer is one of the authors of Tow Bowl Tactics.
Really I've never had time to test this one ... how does it match up to Ski's tool?
How automated is it? Anymore I compare a game to Ski's tool and the PBeM tool.
Ski's program has all the sit down and crank options well done .. graphics, rules automation, etc.
The PBeM tool is almost the definition of flexibility. Able to play with 3rd or LRB edition rules and adaptable for the house rules of just about any league that wants to use.
So I look at automation, graphics, and flexibility as my standards when I look at stuff. I honestly don't know how Tow Bowl stands up on those 3 metrics.

Actually, I've got nothing to do with the game. I just think it's a software with really great potential (in my opinion, better than javabowl). I just think that the BB comunity should check it out and support it and even help if it's possible.
They have a forum where you can post your opinions as well.

Well, not better than Java Bowl.. yet..
Okay, this is what I found (version 0.3)
Positives
-Great graphics. Not 3D but way nicer than Java Bowl (a big plus in my books)
-Just like Java Bowl, works on multiple OS's
-Easy to use Team Editor, that generates a XML that can be edited if needed (again, I think it's easier to manipulate than HTML)
-Great community (small, but hopefully growing), they speak french but all understand english (good for me
-Ability to load/save games
-All rules are in, only a few skills left
-Game is in English or French.
Future versions
-Next version will allow for play over the net
-Next version will have the last few skills
-Next version will have new/more sounds
-A full league/cup game management system
-AI (humm..)
Negative
-Still in beta mode, a lot of work left to do.
-Not sure if you'll have the option of choosing which rule set to use
-I can't see there been any AI any time soon (even though that's on the plan)
Saying all of that, I'm sure that any bug testing, show of support, or even code helping is appreciated. You can visit the forum and leave you thoughts in the english section. I think this has very good potential, it would be sad to see the developper lose interest (not that he is currently).
Hope this helps.
Now if only all these BB developers could work together on one project!
