PSP patches/mods

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

PSP patches/mods

Post by plasmoid »

Hi all,
my brother just bought the PSP version of BB-digital.
I read a lot on TBB about patches - are there any available/necessary for the PSP?
Cheers
Martin

dont think there are any but there have been some complaints about corrupt saves after around 10 hours play.
this is quite concerning as i want the PSP version but it doesnt seem to have any support and theres obviously alot of bugs with the PC version on even just game rules.

I'd love to pick up the PSP version too but a friend of mine has had a few issues with it. I'll ask him about patches etc next time I speak to him.

I have the PSP version and have not had any problems with it. I admit O've not played too many games, but the AI seems a bit better then the PC version and the interface works just fine. The graphics are poor when you zoom in and there is no option to save any setups (so you need to adjust them every match) and a "profile" type save would probably solve many of the issues (including that one).

As for updates, it wouldn't be that hard for Cyanide to release them either via the Playstation Network or as DLC to put on the memory stick and run.

Overall I like it and am somewhat hopeful that updates/expansions will be available. It's currently the only PSP game I play.

For those who care, a new master will come out on an exchange basis for those who already own it:
