Something new.

After you sit down with your opponent, but before kicking off, Select a skill from one of their players and allocate it to your own (regardless of whither they can have it normally, whether it makes it a second skill, whether it’s the same skill, etc). Each player does this in secret, then reveals. The match is then played with the swapped skills.

At the end of the match, rosters revert to normal ready for the next match.

I really like the idea of everyone having a necromancy and raising a zombie. Plenty of conversion opportunities. I have a spare orc and an orc skull knocking around. I might see what I can do.
