I should add to this - it wasn't an English national team, it was a league team from northern England not far from the Scottish border. Much the same idea though!

This magnificent event took place again this weekend. The trophy was narrowly retained by the Geordies.
Lots of fun was had by all!
Our Scottish cousins will be providing more detail, pics etc. in due course. Looking forward to that
