Great tourney, was great to see a lot of faces that i haven't seen in a long while.

Thanks to the italians for hosting a great tourney that will be remembered for a long time.

Congrats to Spain for Winning it. Obviously we did not salute you enough times!!

And finally, thanks to Margot, McGrotuk, Psycho, Treno, and Beppe's & Zfurelli's GF's ( Can't remember their names!! ) for stepping in to give us a full team.

For sure I have to thank the Organizers who made the best Eurobowl up so far in its existence. Or it was just my experience as I was full on painkillers to stop my headaches, or it was just the haircut.

Congrats to Spain who beat England in round 6 and achieved their victory. The last round was close.... so close. So I´m really disapointed that we (Belgium) didn't make it in the end. But we would have needed 1 whole point as Espania had just the better Tiebrakers. But one Point at the Eurobowl means up to 2 places in Ranking.

So the thought of the weekend was: Belgium is not a real Blood Bowl nation, it is THE Blood Bowl nation.

Thanks to all the members of Team Belgium who played the games of their lifes and will hopefully stay together for the Worldcup.

well, very well, extremely well played and celebrated by all participants.

Organizers: Congrats (again) for the brilliant weekend.
My opponents: (Kheldar, Margot, ZeBoss, T.. (austria, sorry), Roller and Caspar (who stepped in for Flix)) thanks for six brilliant if not all that succesfull matches.
My teammates: Congrats for the result. We had five goals (lots of fun, not coming last, beat belgium, beat germany and finish 6th) and we completed 3, drew against the germans (grr) and finished 7th with the same points as the #6 .. germany. Thanks for a very well spend weekend with a lot of laughing and many, many MANY jokes about Ray-Me

CU all at the World Bowl in N'ham next year and then spain: Here we come!

Like all the ones that already posted before me, I must agree that the Eurobowl was a great tourney. Loads of fun, beer, wine, BloodBowl, more beer and wine, a place on the podium, and the chance to meet a lot of new people.
In the end we (team Belgium) were a bit disappoited that we didn't win it, but we'll try again at the next Eurobowl

Thanks to:

* Panico, Aramil, Beppe and the other Italians for organising a great event.
* Team Belgium: Mats, Tim, Gert, Dries, Wouter, Florian and Sascha. We just missed it this year, but we'll have a go for it next time in Barcelona.
* My opponents: Sqar, Utlzi, McTrain, Eddie, Khitor and Roller. 6 exciting games with nice people to play against.
* Dries for being the "shitmagnet" of team Belgium.
* Truls, for confirming me that Danish people really seem to have swallowed a sweater when they talk
* Hoomin' for not lifting up your kilt too much.
* Everybody for al the cheering up you tried after we lost Eurobowl in the last round.

Cheers.

Congrats to Spain for winning this year's Eurobowl!!!

It took my absence for Team Belgium to finally leave the bottom of the ranking. A super great magnificent performance - Driesfield and his team clearly rocked the place! Congrats to all, guys!!

Also my special thanks to the freebooters who dared join the (previously lowly estimated) Belgian team and contributed to this 2nd place.

Well his name is kheldar and our job was to make sure you don't finished last. Which we could have achieved singel handed if necessary. :smoking:

That all second place stuff was achieved by the team.

So. It's Thursday and I am now (mostly) recovered :-)

To all the coaches who attended: that's the best bit about the EB.

Congratulations to Equipo Espana!

Thank you to Panico, Aramil, Beppe and all the Italians for organising.

Not much to add that hasn't been said already. Well done all.

Hasta pronto!

I thought the idea of the Eurobowl was to make friends, not enemies.

On the other hand, it makes more fun to beat enemies. :P

Cool weekend

Post by FischerKing »

Thanks to all for a very cool and surpricingly well organized weekend :) Im glad the italians wonn in England, as the food in Italy beats everything at any EB I have been to so far. Very nice !!

I know that all in the danish team had plenty of fun (+ plenty of wine/beer) and we look forward to participating next year at the world cup. Of course we are dissapointed that we didnt winn (like allways :P) but we wouldnt be danes if we wherent ;)

Congrats to Spain for not only being the team with the most points, but also for being the loudest team. We will look forward to the return of our 128 kg's of pure noise, and make a comeback ! This year we got beaten, fair and square :)

Also thanks to my opponents for 6 games played in a good and fun spirit.
