Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Don't worry we have plans for both Friday and Saturday nights (check the rules pack)!
We should be gathering in King John's Tavern (centrally located) around 7.30 on Friday night. Should be a good crowd as many of the signed up coaches either a) live in Hartlepool or b) used to live here and are staying with parents for the weekend.
On Saturday, the plan is to go for a meal before going out in Hartlepool again later.
If anyone wants a lift from Manc to Hartlepool (and back) then Max and I will be driving up Friday evening and back on Sunday after the event - shout up quickly as places in the car will be limited.
I will be taking Norse. a new tourney team for me, just hope they can emulate their league record. In the ECBBL league they won the first six games they played (and as I've not played any more yet they are still undefeated!!)
*Comfortably sits back knowing he has hexed his team beofre anyone else gets the chance to...*

OK going to book our table for a meal out on the Saturday night in the next week. Unless anyone has any major objections I'm going to book an Indian situated within walking distance of the venue. The food is fantastic (been there several times) and it's pretty good value too.
Need to know how many will be coming before I book. I'm assuming the following will be there...
Me

Lucfier
Max
Glum
Sprouty

Thanks for PM LTQ aka Pippy etc but you chose my anniversary weekend so no I wont be there. Given I am allowed to do 14 tournaments this year which in 2006 includes trips abroad to Amsterdam twice, Paris, Dusseldorf, Oostend, and I very much hope Italy in November, I think giving up one weekend for my lovely lady is a fair trade off.
Would love to be there and talk of curry on the Saturday night is not helping me either.
I'm going to have to pull out of this one I'm afraid. Money is an issue, but also its the weekend before NUS conference, which means I'm going to be up to my neck in political stuff by then. Sorry guys.
