IV. DUNGEON BOWL - "Rulebooklet"

Post by CoachRattenfetza »

Hi fellow Blood Bowlers,

for the next years Dungeon Bowl, there will be a few additions to the current LRB (5.0):

- Coach: Your coach can interact with the Referee - LRB 4
- Apothecary: The Apothecary behaves like in LRB 4
- "new" Post-Match Sequence
- ...

All the Rules and additions will be published in an online booklet (like last year).

Cheers
CoachRattenfetza

- Coach: Your coach can interact with the Referee - LRB 4
after playing my first tourny with LRB 5.0 at Utrecht last weekend... hm... why changing the rules into kind of house rulez again ?

Yes, Apo LRB5 sucks ... as LRB5 Fouling , too, as i found out , too ! But still... these are now the official rulez. Just please make sure, everybody can get the final tournament rulez in time. It will save a lot of discussions later at the tourny ( hopefully  )

Will they have a quiz where non german speakers can stand in a corner and wait for the odd question to be translated?

Great additions. :D

I hope to go to the DB07 (because during that period I'll work in Switzerland and don't know if I can take a holiday on the following Monday...)

Just another question. Will starplayers be allowed?

Starplayers, Coaches, ...

Post by CoachRattenfetza »

Hey guys,

my ideas for the booklet are underway with some fellow Blood Bowlers, who check this...

AT the moment:
- Coach and Apo LRB 4.0
- No Starplayers
- Halfling Chef for Halfling teams
- Igor for Undead, Nurgle, Khemri, Vampire, Necromantic teams
- special re-roll for last years champion (and the winner team 06)
-

You see, many work to do...

Cheers

I am looking forward to play at the DB 07. Most of the rules you posted make sense, but i don't like the idea of the additional reroll for last years champ.

I do not understand, why a good coach should get an additional boost this way.

Cause it is in the Rules.

We all know that there where the trophy Re Rolls in your local league when you play all the 4 majors.

So this is the REAL Dungeon Bowl, so there seems you should also have the real rule. But as said it works only for the champ, and also only if he takes his team again, and most likely only one Reroll for the whole game, not every half.

Maybe not an intention for Mr. Rattenfetza, but also this is a chance for other coaches to get some NAF points from lucifer this way. With the extra Reroll Champs will have the desire to field their teams again, and don´t "park" them in the upper ranks.

What I find odd, is that one of the 4 official GW tournaments feels they need houserules...
