Ok Here it is. The tourney to finally put Scotland back on the Map, and a start towards being the home of bloodbowl!

Date:A weekend in June

Location: Pease Bay
Image

I need to know who is interested to be able to figure out final prices

Pease Bay is about 6 miles south of Dunbar on the A1. If people can get there by train or bus, i can then shuttle the last bit in the car.

Pease bay is a Trailer Holiday Park. There is a Bar, small shop, restaurant, and conference hall all it the park buildings. And it is (As you can see from the pic's) right on the coast.

We will be staying in Mobile trailers that sleep 4 - 6 people, and tentative quotes put the cost at about £120 - £150 per caravan for 3 nights.
(NORTHERN WARLORDS BE AWARE!!! BEST BEHAVIOUR ONLY!!!! These are privately owned trailers that are rented out by the owners when they are not in use, and i will NOT pay for repairs to a trashed trailer.)
http://www.peasebay.co.uk

Edinburgh - Dunbar is £4.50 single
Accom should be about £30 per person for 3 nights.
Food - Bar menu - approx £5 per meal.
Tourney should only be about £15

Yup, the future is always bright in sunny scotland!!

And geoff? Shall we start counting how many erm..... accidents have coincidentally happened to hotel rooms whenever the Northern Warlords are in town?

But otherwise, i am serious about this tourney happening. I need to know if i have people interested before i bother bulk booking trailers.

What do you mean again, don't you mean still?? :P :D

Oops, sorry Valen, hey I've always wanted to see Scotland, maybe this could be a good excuse to go there. I'd come for at least a week so I'd need some generous Scottish TBBer to let me stay at their place after the tourney to cut down on expenses. If I were able to use someone's house as a home base so that I could travel around and see the country without having to rack up big hotel bills, seemed to work well in South England and in Holland. Need to check out the price of a flight to Edinburgh (probably will have to go to London and then up to Scotland, doubt there will be a direct flight from Canada, just wondering if it would be cheaper to take the train from London or to fly?).
I was thinking of doing the BB in Notts again this year, but his will probably more fun, can always do the World Cup later on in October.

Just looked at the map, but isn't this tournament location in England?

I'm going to see if I can come after all, but that will depend on the rates of the ferry and the people from Holland that would join to share the ferry costs. I'll get back to you on this when DFDS has their rates on the website for june.
