I am curious if anyone from the UK is heading off to the Tilean Cup. I will be in London in November and December and was contemplating heading over to Italy take part. Budget and all that allowing of course.
Unfortunately thre are no tournaments in England during my time there, else I would certainly have attended one of those.

Bizzarely enough my flights from Johannesburg to London go via Madrid. When is the MADBowl? I fly back on the 10th of December so chances are it will be outside of my time frame :(

From the Spanish forum:http://www.bloodbowlforo.org/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=7092
The only thing that we can say is that we're waiting to the confirmation of the place where we usually do the tournament... the most probably thing is that the tournament will be on 15-16 dec, but we have to wait till the notification arrives to be sure about that...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tilean Cup VII (from 2001 8) ) will be held in Rome the 1-2 dec. It is organized from the GW-Italy.
The cost is € 25 (inscription).
I hope to meet you there

Some rules:
6 games, 3 on sat, 3 on sun. Point: 5-2-0. No final.
TV 105, 3 skills before game 1, 3 skills before game 4, magic healing, no starplayer/inducements, no illegal procedur, no 4 minutes rule, bla bla bla...

Well, very interesting. You could do the Brassman Bowl which is in Belgium. Only 3 1/2 hours drive (and ferry, inclusive) from London. There are quite a few Brits who go, and you can do it in a weekend. Last time I went, I drove down on the Friday night, it finished at 6pm on the Sunday and I was back in London at about 10pm. Not bad considering you're crossing over 3 countries!

Brassmans is a blast, you get to try the Belgian beerhouses, eat at the slightly bizarre but utterly delicious chicken restaurant (you get served chicken and a bit of bread, no cutlery, and the chicken is out of this world), and try the various bars afterwards (the infamous "hand on fire" sambucca shots incident, now folklore among Brit Blood Bowlers happened here). Great place, great people, fairly easy to get to and a real laugh. You'll be back in London by the evening of the 9th.
