I've found flights from Manchester to Dusseldorf (good flying times too!) for £91 inc taxes.

Anyone interested in making the trip?

Think I might try and find something from one of the Glasgow airports but up for two foreign tournies next year (not at all suggesting that the EuroBowl won't be North (or even South, I guess) of the border in 2009.

I shall be driving Indigo, Geggster and Hangus for the fourth year in a row!

Dont discount driving folks. Ferry is £48, fuel is about £120ish so thats about £45 per person if there is four of you. Its only about 4 hours drive, maybe less.

Best bet for anyone travelling from the North East would be Leeds/Bradford to Dusseldorf with Jet2 - was just over £60 when I checked today.

Need to look into whether I'm free that weekend.

It's about £74 if you fly out on the Friday and back on the Monday.

I'm happy to put people up at mine or if people wanna park at mine instead of the airport (Free) there is a bus from outside my house to Leeds/Bradford for £3 ish.

I will be flying, and I can put about 4 people up,

Leon

N.B: Got 2 reservations already-

Pip, it's £61.48 + £10 for Fuel Surcharge (not added till the end of the booking process)

At £71 it's £20 cheaper than Manchester airport and means that we all arrive together. On the down side I remember what happened last year though :(

What airport would you guys suggest?

Is Dussledorf Weeze feasible?

Flights from Manchester start later this month and currently prices from Glasgow are £36 return...

I take it that this is with Ryanair?

Dusseldorf Int'l is about 15 mins by train away from the centre. Weeze isn't ;-)

Yes, Ryanair it is.

But from Glasgow I'm not sure I have many options.

Checking out Cologne from Edinburgh as we speak...
