Stunty Slam 2009 - ideas?

The Stunty Slam will definitely be hapening again this year (date tba) :) and I wanted to pick people's ideas re: what they would like to see. Last year, we had different stadia with different weather conditions (although I didn't see many of the crazier of the weather results) and a round of squig bowl (in some cases, it made no difference, in some it was great and in Shaniepoo's game, it was insane - 16 squigs on the pitch!).
We also had TR110 and stars.

This year, I am definitely going to allow inducements and probably cards. (will work out the exact costing later).

I have an idea re:an icy conditions round (see below),but other than that I am open to other suggestions (It will be a 4 game, 1 dayer, I imagine).
Icy Conditions

2 Avalanche: The thunderous sound of a baying crowd has caused an avalanche! Roll a D6 for each player on the pitch. On a 6 the player is stunned.

3-4 Snow, snow, snow! There has been heavy snow fall and the pitch is covered! The blanket of deep snow makes for soft landings. Thrown team mates get +1 to landing roll. However, the deep snow makes it harder to get going. Players that land successfully after they are thrown must roll D6 - on a 2+ the player can continue to make their move. However, on a 1, they are stuck! Kick-offs do not bounce either.

5-10 Nice. Perfect (if a little frosty!) blood bowl weather.

11 Snow Storm. Snow is falling at a great rate of knots and it is making it nigh on impossible to see. All passes, hand-offs and catches are -1.

12 Black Ice. The icy conditions have made it treacherous under-foot, as it is extremely slippy! The ice means that players may go for it 3xs. However, the ice makes it hard to keep control. GFIs are made using a the throw in template to determine direction.

Oh, I would like to find a way to allow a player with TTM to pick up an opponent and chuck him, but I cannot get my head around it. Anyone got any thoughts on this too? *edit* - Have seen 'Pitch Player' skill from MBBL 2, that might be workable.

Or forgotten about, as in my game with Jamie.

It's not likely to change my intentions towards turning up but I'm not wild about special rules such as this as I'm too dumb to remember them...

I am inclined to think that an avalanche isnt temporary... after the avalanche has happened I suggest that the weather changes to "Snow, snow, snow!".

I think a lot of coaches ignored the squigbowl rules as they required time and a little brainpower to implement. Will there be a small skill set this year to increase variety between teams? Weather table looks good.

And when you do follow the rules you end up with a 3rd team roster made up of squigs on the pitch joining in the game! If you do squig ball again just dont have it so the ball splits.

Squig 'ball' - The baal is replaced with an angry squig that doesnt take kindly to being picked up and thrown about. At the start of each player turn roll a dice if the ball is being held by a player, on a D6 roll of 1 the squig jumps free - the ball bounces once from the player. If the squig 'ball' is not being carried then it jumps about wildly - the squig bounces 3 times. If it lands on a player they may attempt to catch the ball.

When are you looking to hold the Stunty this year?

Ban star players, well mostly Puggy he's like Griff's more skilled midget brother against goblins. As for the weather round I think 5-10 still make its too likely to be good weather how about only having 7 as nice?

I was thinking more about banning Lucifer, Daz ;)

Re: weather, that thought had crossed my mind too. Might give it a tweak.

Why not just ban good weather totally?
