Newquay Bowl Cricket?

Enjoyed the baseball at The Crunch. Any chance of some cricket at Newquay?
Don’t need a proper cricket pitch, just a field. Must be something near the venue…?
Can bring stumps and a bat if people are up for it.
On the weekend of the 3rd Ashes Test at Edgbaston, we could even re-enact the Ashes…

plenty of beach and some grass near venue but it will be packed if the sun is out, none near my house though.

sounds interesting, it'll just be finding somewhere to do all this though.
No space in the back garden and no parks etc nearby.
might be able to do some on the beach but tide will be on it's way back in by the time we finish on the sat evening.
