Most Casualties.

I just won the most casualties inflicted for Spike! 2009 tourney yesterday with a Khemri team w/ Ramtutt. I built a team just to win that award and it happened after 2 tries. I had 33 Casualties in 6 games. Not including 4 that I lost to regenerate (Nurgle and Vamps) and 1 to a Ogre team with an Apothecary. So really I got 38. What are other records for this and has anyone else built a team to destroy?

I'd have thought that any regenerated or apothecaried would also count for casualties inflicted in a tourney. So 38 is mightily impressive. The most I can recall at a tourney where only straight blocks counted (i.e. no fouls, weapons etc.) was 27 at last years GT by Valen with 'flings.

Well out here in Western Canada, the casualties are counted as who is in the injured box at the end of the game, no matter how it was done. An if I was in the tourney you mentioned I probably would have had 10 cause man did I foul. :) I think I might have fouled more in those 6 games then I ever have in table top alone. I sacrificed my win record as in order to do it, I left the ball alone and chose to use all my Skellys to gang foul every chance I had. :)

If you build a team just for the most casualties award you're an idiot. When you go for casualties you usually forsake winning because you make risky blocks first, get three dicers when you should be positioning and foul a lot (when they count).

It ruins the results of the tourny because casualties caused comes before td's scored, so whoever plays you gets an easier game as they can just goad you into blocks you don't need to take.

I did it with goblins, but then again, I'm a male chicken who couldn't give a Duck...

I did it for a nice shiny trophy and to set the bar high for future Spike tourneys. And td's come before casualties in this tourney my friend. And I have proven myself many times to be a good coach so I didn't need to do that. :) Next year I will try to win. :)

Sorry, when I said cas comes before td, I meant to the coach, not to the tourny scoring

I've won some cas-trophies recently, just with a dwarf team.
Winning a trophy by causinig casualties is fun, I admit. Although it was never a goal for me, I see the appeal of it.

Best result for me was 18 in 5 games, with 2 games where I didnt score a single casualty ! TR 100 I might add.
Just blocking casualties, "bruto" (so without substracting the cas-against).

I'm sure Draco will step in and add his side of his story, playing Ogres for quite some tournaments...
