Dungeonbowl accomodation

Hi

For the last few years, we've stayed at the Alt Graz in Düsseldorf, nice place, near the venue and it's always been reasonably priced.

This year, the price has leapt to 186EUR per person for three nights :o It's normally been about 90.

Does anyone have any other recommendations for accomodation, preferably quite a bit cheaper but still in walking distance to the venue? Which don't involve sleeping under bridges ;)

Many thanks!

We're staying here:

For 4, worked out at 22E per night each.

(thanks to Tim for the tip!).

The youth hostel is very good, stayed there last year. It is basically a normal hotel.

How far away from the venue is the above hotel?

1,2 km (15 min walk)

I'm staying in the Hotel am Wehrhahn right across the street form the Drakenburg, but that's also quite exensive. It's shoe fair again that weekend ... this gives you the high accomodation costs.

Baerbel and I booked the same hotel. This time we will travel together with Mootaz by train and will arrive around 8:30pm. So enough time to have again Japanese food and some beer... 8)

As I will be accompanied by my family we booked an appartment this year over the weekend.

And it is cheaper than staying in a hotel

I'm travelling together with Marc, so we could join your evening plans. 8:30 we should be able to make (+/- some minutes depending on traffic).

I'm sorry, it seems that every week in march there is a fair at Duesseldorf... I hope you all can manage it, to find a place to stay.

The Schulz Brothers and one Guest will arrive around 10 p.m. on friday.

So is there a meeting point? Or more precicely, which japanese restaurant you are talking about, as there are several around?
