Well here is the Problem I face, Im unsure what roster to go with for this weekend and the skills around it. and would appreciate any advice.

1 Runner
3 Blitzers
2 Witch Elfs
5 Line Elfs
1 Re Roll

Leader, Wrestle/Block (WE), Wrestle/Block (WE), Kick, Dodge (Blitz)

or

2 Runners
4 Blitzers
1 WE
4 Line Elf
1 RR

Much the same skill set but drop wrestle for Dodge on Blitzer

or lastly

1 Runner
4 Blitzer
6 Line Elf
2 RR

Leader, Dodge 4 times

Im told by a valued player that WE are to much for tournement at 100TV but i will be honest i like them. and is 1 RR enough knowing Iwill gain leader?

Thank you

I'd take the first roster. Massively balls out, but if you get through the first game you won't have too bad a team. I might order my skills Leader, Wrestle/Block, Dodge, Wrestle/Block, Dodge. Kick is too much of a luxury for this team.

WEs are fine at TV100 though. Got to the final last year for example, and I can think of several other times they have too. Stick got a no reroll roster to the final a few years back.

I think he means WEs = witch elves?

1st roster for me, but wouldn't take kick.

Last year I took darkies with:
3 blitzers, 2 witches, 1 runner, 5 linos and 1 RR.

Skills were leader, block, wrestle, dodge, dodge.

I finished 4th with a 5/1/0 record. And if it wasn't for those cursed hobgoblins round 1!!!!!!

......We'd have had much less fun. ;)

I'd go nowhere near Kick in this environment, and I think DE are a fine TV100 team after you've played through that tricky first game. Good luck (unless you play me!)!

Well last year was my first and i learnt alot, I used Humans but more so about the skill's. the team doesnt always make a huge difference but skill selection is huge, and then there was Lycos game 6, that was an education!! :o

Wrestle is good for taking down one key guy, like the ball carrier or to clear a path. But this comes at the expense of going prone yourself. Going prone isn't something you want to do unless the benefits are serious. Block + Frenzy is good for hurting people, which Wrestle isn't.

Yup - what he said.

Wrestle for taking out blodgers/ block ball carriers. The old 5+ dodge into a cage for a 1d wrestle with frenzy trick is genius.

Block witch is nice for a ball carrier if you can't cage or screen properly. She should be safe from most 1d blitz's. And as Joe pointed out, it is nice to frenzzy block stuck for the hurt, or better to put them into position to crowdsurf.

Surf ftw!

And if you are interested, making a 5+ dodge into a cage followed by two 1d frenzy blitz's (on a non-dodger) gives you a 10/27 chance of a ball-pop with no RR and a 25/54 chance of a ball-pop if you are inclined to spend a RR.

Exciting, huh?!

Well after all the advice I went with 1 Runner, 2 Witchelfs and 3 Blitzers taking skills of Leader, Wrestle, Block, Dodge, Dodge.

Overall I was happy and achived a final place of 20th with 4 ~Win 2 Loss.

Its worth saying from the numbers you crunched I did get into a cage on my 5th game no less than 5 times on a 5+ dodge with reroll. :)

Might I add that the 5th Game vs Undead was the best I had across the weekend.

Flattery will get you everywhere. ;)

I very much enjoyed it too. Was a tricky encounter, just what you want.
