Newquay Bowl 2011

As a new team taking over Newquay bowl for 2011 and most don't live in Newquay ir can't drive they are looking at moving the venue to Truro and rebranding the comp.

Pros

Better Venue than the past few years avalible at little cost so keeping entry fees down.
Ddirect train from London/ Plymouth to Truro.
Sleep in over at Love Monkeys place avalible.
BBQ can be done again.


Cons


A little bit further to drive, maybe an extra half hour.
Not as many B&Bs/ Hotels/ Campsites as close by.
Not as wide a variaty of nightlife as Newquay


If the location did change to Truro would people still be interested in coming down for Newquay Bowl?
Is the time of year a good time for people or would a move from July to later/ earlier in the year be worth looking at?

I'll be there. Personally I quite like the idea of truro, and the dates were fine for me. Any earlier and it might conflict with the GT (i have an 'agreement' with mrs nazgob: 1 tourney every 3 months).

Not as wide a variaty of nightlife as Newquay

i think i'll survive. although i suppose that we wont be able to get bugrit distracted by all the hen parties next year.
