Ironmanj Food and Hostel

Hi guys,

Ironmanj is only 3 weeks away now, so time for some organisation I guess. The Nandos & real ale pub seemed to go down well last year, so we plan to repeat than unless there are huge objections. Please let us know if you plan to come out for food and/or drinks (or not) in this thread so we can get a rough idea of numbers.

Last year lots of people stayed together in a big dorm room at a hostel very near the venue. That would probably be a good plan, so please use this thread to organise yourselves again. As a tourist town York B&Bs are pretty expensive, so this is definitely something you want to get in on. The link to the hostel is: http://www.acehotelyork.co.uk/

I still need accomodation! the hostel was fine last year and would be more than happy to stay there again

I'm in for food and hostel. It looks like it gets cheaper if more people stay. Who's up for a 10 or 14 man room?

I am defo in for hostel. I have not booked anything - thought I'd wait and see how many of us there are.

I'm not sure, but I think you can either book a dorm room en masse or just book a space in a large dorm and share with whichever strangers turn up. Might be worth investigating.
