Confirmation - No Flame Bowl in 2011

Hi guys, this is just to confirm that there won't be a Flame Bowl happening this winter. There may well be another team tournament springing up to fill the void though - keep 'em peeled.
Sorry if this is dissapointing to people, rest assured Flame Bowl will return bigger and brighter in the future.

Stick has said he won't be doing Poobowl as a team event.
I'm happy to run Monkeybowl as a team tournament in Flamebowl's absence.
Mighty shame no FB but hopefully the UK community will get their annual team fix nonetheless.

Could you not find a venue to top last years?
Surely theres a large S&M dungeon with absolutely no lighting out there.
Seriously though - hope to see Flamebowl return and looking forward to it.

@Nipples - gutted there won't be a FB 2011 but given the World Cup timing it is understandable/logical.
Imo, if Nips is planning a 2012 FB then it's worth waiting for that as opposed to adulterating an already popular tourney e.g. Monkeybowl/Poobowl etc

Yes...
But it is well kitted out with ample lighting and heating. Heating at the Flamebowl would be just untraditional

For a few years now I've been toying with doing a one-off MB team event. So it'd just be a happy coincidence that Monkeybowl could fill the team void left by Flamebowl.
I'll start some discussions and see what people think. The idea seems popular to most of those I've spoken to. Indeed maybe Nips himself would like to taste the team action...?
