Joe and I are thinking of booking space in the same 'Ace' hostel we used 2 years ago for the Ironmanj next year.

I'd be looking to try and book pretty soon, for just the Saturday night. The more we get, the cheaper it would be. 4 man would be (from) £26, 14 of us (from) £16.

Any takers? Will probably leave it until New Years, then do the business.

I'm in. How much is it for the Saturday night.

Depends on how many we get and how empty they are / what rooms they have available.

Assuming they're empty, a spot in a 6 man dorm with a bed free will be £25.50 + 1/5 £25.50 if we want it to ourselves. If they're booked up and we have to take what we can get in a huge mixed dorm, £16.

I guess I'll play it by ear when I ring them up as to what we get. Last time, there were something teen of us, and getting a big 14 man room was easy, so I suspect it's not peak time and we will be alright. Some sort of steer would be good though; any adversion to randoms? Would you like it to ourselves, or worked out for maximum cheapness? Speak now!

Best option at time of booking was £27.50 pp private 6 man shared bathroom. Was only £6 more than a mixed 14 man affair, so thought it worth it.

Have had three more join us, so we're in an eight man nerd room at a reduced £25.50 pp. Same as before to avoid faff, I'll pay on the day, you guysh send me funds. If I owe anyone a £2 refund, slap me for cash on the day.

After realising its 4 games on the Saturday (teach me to disappear!) I don't fancy the trip back to Manchester over night! Firstly, is there any room available in this dorm? (I'm presuming not when I've counted numbers) and secondly, if not, can I chuck my stuff in ur dorm on the Saturday rather than it being in with random people!
