a friend of mine is starting a Tau army.. in warhammer 40K...
anyone has some cheap spare stuff??

Going from what my 2 Tau-playing mates said, the started army box (£55 atm) is a good basic grounding for a "normal" battle force. Add in another squad of Firewarriors, some more Crisis suits and a Hammerhead, and you should be good to go.
