Thanks! They really do look like young Slann. And they have shoulder pads that look ready for BB. Just a quick hand swap and voila!

Don't work as Slann for me - to muscular and not "lithe" enough. I just can't see these leaping about.

That said, I could see them working in the aquatic Chaos team that's on my "to do, but probably never get round to" list.

I think Darkson's right. They're great miniatures but I don't see them working for anything except maybe a Saurus. Too thick, stout, squat, solid for slann or skinks or anything like that.

Darkson, what else would you use with them for the aquatic team?

There were some mini's at westwind I liked the look off - sharkmen and octopus-faced people.

I saw some others somewhere, but I can't remember where, and I can't be bothered to go through my 75+ links to mini companies to find them.

[Edit] Nope, it wasn't Westwind - I guess I'll have to find out my copies of Harbinger mag and find them in there.

Fenryll has sharkmen, a set of 3, they're a bit more comical tough.
I do think they also have squig faces, but rather cartoony ones.
if that rings a bell, fenryll is the company you mean, otherwise I dont know

A great find. I think that I will get some of those for my lizard team. Hardly any converting needed.
