Re: New Witch Elf?
I got the dark eldar wytch box for blitzers, witch elvesand runners and a kabalite warrior box for linemen. I've put together 17 models, dumped one and voíla, my team's done. Now I just have to paint them.

Re: New Witch Elf?
I think the new Dark Eldar range is by far the best GW has done in years. Jes Goodwins hand in this is very evident and they look stunning imo. At some point I am definitely going to make a team out of them.

Re: New Witch Elf?
Bought a box of wyches (10 Models) for my dark elf team, the positionals where built as 2 Witch elves (using the face masks) and 2 Runners, all of these had (I think) left leg raised, that left 6 Lino's. 5 with right leg raised and 1 with both feet planted.
All these of course are female models
For the blitzers ive used the "mandrake" dark eldar, they are male and look bulkier in the body, i snipped the weapons off 4 and swapped the "flaming arm" with a plastic one from the wyche box set (there are several spares)
The other mandrake (you get 5 in the box) has had the weapon left intact and a plastic arm with a blade added (see above) to use as the "on roster" Assassin
(Bugritt posted pictures of my Star assassin somewhere on here)
Once these are back from being painted i'll post pictures (probably after Xmas)
Ive waited an age for decent dark elf models, and i think these are about as good as its going to get. I enjoy playing Dark elves but the models always left me feeling that there was something (besides skill on my part) missing!!

Re: New Witch Elf?
I am also currently working on a Dark Elf team using the Wyches so will look forward to seeing pics of yours glowworm. They really are nice sculpts and just what i've been waiting for!! Been wanting to play Dark Elves for a while, but the lack of nice looking miniatures has delayed it somewhat.
So far I've only finished building 1 Blitzer, its taken me a lot longer than I had planned but well worth it. I'm going for an all female team too (called The MurderDolls).
I may post a pic of the build if I can manage to take a decent one of it.
Cheers
James

Re: New Witch Elf?
I've started doing this a while ago (i.e. as soon as the witches were out).
I've converted a Lelith Hesperax too as my witch...the problem is that i need another model that fits, and imho, nothing compares. I always use two witches in my rosters, so i need to find another model.
As awesome as it is, the model is difficult to re-pose. Removing the base and weapons is easy, but i am not sure how feasible it is to cut and re-pose the members/head/hairs.
I had hopes for the new Succubus, but it is far too armored.

Re: New Witch Elf?
You could always try and find the old Lelith.
She was one of the few decent models from the old range and still looks good today.
