I finally have my Necro team done (barring a couple more Zombie mods) so I wanted to flock the bases. I did a search here to find "static grass" but it just gave me results with people mentioning they used it etc...

Where can I get it? My local hobby shop does not.

While on the topic, does anyone have any advice for a first time flocker? Any ways to make it look really good on the bases? Any layering I should do for effect?

games workshop, gw online or a modelling shop, possibly in model railway section.

yeah gw shops have it

just glue the base stick the model in the bag, pull it out and hold it upside down for a couple of minutes. Thats all i did and looks ok

and what about if you just can't find grass?

could anybody tell me how can I replace the grass?

here we don't have any GW or similar store...

I have Woodland Scenics Static Grass...about double the price of the GW grass for like a hundred times more. You should be able to order Woodland Scenics (or GW, for that matter) stuff online, including the grass.

Woodland Scenics is what I use as well.

check out the railroad sections in hobby stores. Theres all kinds of bags that are great (small twigs, grass, sand, stones ....)

Yeah, definitely avoid using GW's flock and static grass...unless you like wasting money. Go to a hobby shop, craft store or model railroad shop.

You'll find flock and grass for 1/2 the price GW charges.

there is a specialised railway/model shop near our house maybe they have it there..

I now use flock from there..
