Cool Mini or Not Annual
Has anyone bought one? Just wondering if it was worth the money there aren't to many left and I still can't decide if I want to buy it or not.

Well depends ...
Traveller bought it, i took a look at it at the Spiel '03 Con and did not buy it (for 55 Euros!!!).
It's a great book, tons of good pictures of awesome models. But the price ... i don't know. I would have bought it for 20 Euros, maybe 30, but the strange shipping costs make it almost 50 Euros here, bit too much for my taste.

As Tim wrote, i bought this picture book. And I agree, its quite expensive. But i knew, some years later i will stumble over this book at ebay, will like to get a copy and have to bid a higher price than now ...
But i like this book and added it to my collection of the old GW Fantasy Miniatures Books...
BTW... the newest WD issue includes a small 25 pages (!) booklet of picts of the GD2003 UK entries ....
... those diorama or duell entries

Some of the stuff in the Golden daemon booklet is fantastic...especially the slayer sword winning regiment and the Aragorn. My favourite is probably the Sanguinius though.
Don't know how the 40k regiment won their award...they look nice and the painting plus converting is top notch...but THEY HAVE NO LEGS.

I will check it tonight... but i´m quite sure i didnt see you nickname on the pages.I don't know if I'm actually in the book, mind. Just whining a bit

@Thadrin
yep, thats true and i dont like it, too. But still the minis are fantastic painted and got a lot of details.Don't know how the 40k regiment won their award...they look nice and the painting plus converting is top notch...but THEY HAVE NO LEGS.
Thats really the best single mini i saw a long , long time. Just wondering, why this mini didnt win the GDsword ? The winning WH Regiment is great, too, but if you see all those paintings on the coat of Sanguinius...My favourite is probably the Sanguinius though

Maybe i will take a pict tonight to show the people here what we are talking about

) I just dont knew how many points worth ?! I just was told ... enough for a big battle !
Here you can find a pict of the Sanguinius.... but the picts in the booklet are much better.
