Please help me identify a weird fig. Its bizarre. I picked it up out of the bitzbox at my local store and its made me curious.

Its a toad/frog with a human head wearing a pirates hat. It has an eyepatch. There are no markings on the base of the figure.

I picked it up (the owner gave it to me actually) and plan on stripping it and using it for The SPLAT spell for 3rd edition BB. But I am dying to know what twisted company came up with the idea.

It's one of the Talisman toads. There are 5 different variants and this one is the ransformed Pirate character



It's a nice, whacky mini. It's not easy to find but not really rare. I have one too.

Where they released as a blister pack for Talisman?

No, the 5 toads were distributed among the various Talisman blisters and sometimes the expansion set mini boxes (although the distribution was fixed).

The Talisman minis are very popular and sell on ebay for 7-15US$ on average. It took me some time to get all 70 pieces.
