Maybe they could be combined with those zombie pygmies somehow.

Interesting. And remember, if you were to make a 'Fling team out of these guys, you'd have to go to Reaper for their treeman!

It just so happens I own that figure, and have a ruler within arm's reach... :)

From the soles off his feet (ie, if you cut/grind off the the sculpted base and stood him on a plastic base) to the very top of his head is just a hair over 45mm. Forgive the crappy camera-phone pic, but I figured it was good enough to judge scale -- that's a 3rd Ed High Elf lineman on the left and a 2nd Ed Human thrower on the right:

He's similar to the 2nd Ed Ogres and Trolls, I'd say. Perhaps he's not fully ideal "big guy" size, given modern scale creep, but I'd think he's still probably big enough to be the big guy for a 'Fling team. He'd tower over the smaller stunties and is still noticably taller than normal-sized players. Given that his height is all in his head, though, and his body has similar proportions to normal-sized players, you probably wouldn't want him as the big guy for a normal-sized team -- he'd definitely work best when the pitch is at least half full of little guys.

Those guys are awesome! I would love to have one or two of them to offer a little bit of variety to my fling team.
