Heresy needs a new casting machine.

Uh-oh.

So, in short: I'm looking at either a 2 week wait for an engineer, or a wait until the start of january for a new casting machine, which will cost me £4000. (But is at least from a UK manufacturer, and has support back-up etc available)
Any other month, I wouldn't be so scared, but this being christmas month...well, I'm a bit screwed. (Contract casting isn't an answer as they won't be able to fit me in until January anyway, I suspect. What with it being christmas.)

So, I'm a bit stuck. Do I stick a 20% sale on and let people know they probably won't get their stuff until the new year? Is that a realistic option? It means I'm going to have either 2 weeks or 5 weeks (New year hols etc will delay the arrival of the machine, I suspect) of orders to catch up on and I'll be missing deadlines for posting stuff abroad. If it's 5 weeks, it'll be a nightmare of cthulhuistic proportions... Are people going to accept that? I'm already getting emails of the 'Will you be able to get me this in time for xmas?" variety.

I need to know your opinions.

I also want your money. I need to raise funds for a new machine, so I am offering all you FODders the chance to be loan sharks. If you can give me £100 now, I will extend you £150 of credit for miniatures (Not tools, etc, as I'd be making a loss that way - tools would count as 'full price' off the initial £100. So if you wanted £50 of tools, you'd have £50 of investment, giving £75 of credit.) I'm using £100 as an example - anything you can spare would be appreciated. This credit does not expire, so you could use it against a future netherlord or something else I haven't made yet. (EG angel)

Heresy are a great contributer to quality miniatures and supporting Blood Bowl with appropriate figures to play with too.
