I was tempted to try for you Steve (and others ... and heck for myself). Honestly when we aren't discussing the rules I like you ... . However two problems ... the first was that dang it is getting up there in price but not completely out of the question yet ... but the larger is that the figure is 60mm. Just really outside the scope of what we sell. Sorry mate.

Her being bigger appeals to me more, as I would have no in-game use for her she would be purely a display piece.

Nice piece. Tom Meier seems to do a few of these and gets the bids from miniature comanies accross the globe. Inevitably one will win and cast her up have no fear of that! :P

You guys realize she will sell for around $25 (14 GBP) right?

Just trying to see if the few folks expressing interest really have that much interest?

Okay going rate in the USA for pro sculptors is $10 per mm. Someone like Tom Meier (ie a big name) could easily get $12.50. So anything under $750 for this green is steal.

That said ... ran it past the other Impact! partners and it was voted down on trying to acquire it.

Hopefully for you guys whoever buys it will make it public. I might honestly send a question to Tom Meier and ask if your email could be given to the winning bidder as someone who would like to be notified if/when the green is cast. Having interested sellers to pass along with the green would be a good thing that if I were Mr. Meier ... I would be willing to do.

This one´s already a big topic on other small miniature making companies. Wyrd miniatures for example. Afaik, Hasslefree bought the last green available this way.

I was only half serious. I love the hamsters but not so much the girl. She's fantastic, don't get me wrong. I just don't need young girl stuff around the house and think it would have been funnier if it was a burly or nerdy guy.

And I, you, but c'mon. You don't mind discussing rules with me. You just hate that I'm right. :P

Just thought people here might want to know: the auction was won by Ginfritter's Gnomish Workshop, who will be producing the figure for sale in resin. According to the Ginfritter site, pre-orders will be taken at $20 until April 14th; shipments will begin on April 15th, when the regular price of $25 will go into effect.
