headless horseman-esque

im on the lookout for another mini, after watching Tim Burtons excellent 'sleepy hollow'.

what im really looking for is something resembling the headless horseman (on foot), but with his (or just 'a') head..., for use in an RPG

for those not aware of the image, its basically a large man, with heavy black cloak, with axe in one hand and sword in the other. (28mm preferable)

anyone know of a mini like this, or something similar?

Galak's posted a fig like that on the Impact forum (under a Scarecrow thread iirc).

If you're thinking of Galak's post just a bit down on this page, that's not a 28mm mini. It's a pic of a much larger scale resin statue, I believe of the Headless Horseman as shown in the Johnny Depp movie "Sleepy Hollow." Galak was posting it as an example of what he'd like to see in a 28mm figure, for a Halloween-themed Elfball team.

Off hand, I'm not aware of a good figure currently in existance, myself. There could be one I don't know about, certainly, but my best suggestion would be to find a good mini that you like for everything else, then just cut the head off.

ive had a look about and ive dug up a LOTR gamling on foot, which i think will do nicely - just stick an axe in his left hand and paint him more...black
