Having been inspired by some of the brilliant orc/ork team conversions out there I am in the process of thinking of doing my own.
However, I was wondering about bionik orc/orks.
Would guitar wires make good pipework? Or is it too flexible and springy?
How would you make it stiff?

I can only offer you the advice I got when I started making my Puggy:
LUBE YOUR TOOL!
apparantly, vaseline is the best option.
on topic, aper clips would possibly work.

guitar strings too floopy (this thread is an innuendo nightmare), like nazgob says paper clips are good, stiff enough to support and flexible enough to tweak if you want to change the minis posture/stance as you progress. You can buy modelling armatures from some companys (will help a lot with scale and proportions, remember 1mm out on the mini will equate to disproportionate limbs/body) think tritex games may be a place to look for them

reaper also sells packs of male/female/stick armatures to build your greenstuff around. Good luck!

Have a feeling that Hasslefree do armatures too, along with various head/face packs too.

There's a company that makes pewter cables you can bend scaled for 40K. I can't for the life of me find the link I had anymore.
