Anyone else seen this fantastic piece by the stars of Ace of cakes?
http://i.massively.joystiq.com/2009/05/ ... agggghhhh/

Modeled on the squig herder at the beginning of the warhammer online cinematic it towers over other weaker pasty creations at 3 feet tall, it even features the goblin jockey in his jaws!
Great work, its the best cake I have ever seen and the only one which can take a bite out of you XD

shouldn't that be off topic? Cake =/= miniature.

It is a miniature! The goblin is smaller than a regular goblin, the squig is smaller than a squig and its an epic conversion piece. Simple cake and icing into a delicious monster! Raaarrrrr.
Designed, sculpted, converted, painted (literally), airbrushed(literally) its a minature mad of cake! Who says they have to be plastic, metal or resin?

+1 a mini is a mini even if it is made of cake instead of resin or white metal :D

If this starts a trend of edible armies/teams, I'll pass :P

However, that cake is awesome! I love that thing!

Wouldn't it be technically a "maxi" rather than a "mini"? Or a least a life-size replica?

;)

I would say that its about 2/3 the size of in game character (in reletive proportion). Still a mini XD
